American Brand Design is a parallel brand to our business Campana Frost Design. Campana, that’s me, Tina Campana. Frost, that’s my husband, Mike Frost. American Brand Design serves as an extension of our brand values and goals to pledge our commitment to restoring the rights of ALL Americans and to help combat the destruction of the founding principles that have always made America great. A husband and wife team, lifelong friends and patriots, we’ve been working together since we were kids.
Mike and I met at our neighborhood school bus stop when we were in elementary school and soon became friends. As childhood friends and early entrepreneurs, our first business started one day when Mike’s mom asked us to repaint her front door. Since all of the doors in the condo complex were the same color, we decided it would be a good idea to go door to door offering our service. We made pretty good money, until we ran out of doors. But it didn't end there...

Our careers began in high school with on-the-job training at Mike’s mom’s graphic design business. Having a love of art and design, I asked Mike’s mom if she would show me her work. She was kind enough to show me the process and tools used for the print advertising and publications she worked on. Soon we began helping her with projects. Back then, in the 80’s, we used ancient tools such as typesetters, clip art (that you actually clipped), paste boards, t-squares, pica rulers, x-acto knives, light tables, waxers, stat cameras (to shoot line art and halftones) and learned the process of developing film. Most significantly, we learned the importance of accuracy, attention to detail, and adhering to deadlines that is still engrained in us to this day.
Adept at all of these skills and techniques, I was able to get a full-time job as a Graphic Artist soon after graduating high school, and enrolled in classes at CCAD, while Mike continued his work as a Production Artist. And it just took off from there.
So as not to bore you with our entire life story, I’ll just hit the highlights. In the next several years, we married, had our first child, and 2 years later our second. During this time computers came on the scene. We embraced the new technologies, and educated ourselves to learn the systems and design applications, and integrated these into our careers. Mike worked at home raising our kids and started his own business building computers and eventually setting up networks. Fast forward to 2005. After years of working as a corporate graphic designer, freelancing on the side, and finally at a design agency – working my way up from Graphic Designer to Senior Designer, to Designer/Art Director, I decided it was time to go out on my own. That’s when CampanaFrost Design was born.
